about

If you couldn't tell, Tim is really into immortality. He also digs Paul. This song's message differs from his other track, O Death, with its focus on physical healing. He takes a strong stand on the unreality of a curse on women that comes from theological mythology, and he quotes Science and Health in giving very practical support in how to heal sickness: Don't accept it! Fight it mentally and take a stand for your wholeness and freedom.
The ending beautifully sums up all of consciousness: God is my Life, my Love, my Mind, my Everything. That's how healing really happens. It's a conscious understanding of this as truth, as fact. It's the only reality. We know: Deep.

lyrics

II Cor. 5: 16-17
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures 181: 2
Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures 390: 32

“Henceforth know we no man” (II Cor. 5: 16)
like we’ve known before.
If we live in Spirit,
we won’t be fooled anymore.
You can’t fool me.

I’m not made of things that vanish.
I was made for Life, immortal.
I can heal the world from dreaming.
I shine forth while matter disappears.

Man’s not made from dust and fear
‘cause God whispers guidance to his ear.
Woman, you were never second best.
You can’t suffer anymore.
There’s no curse.

I’m not made of things that vanish.
I was made for Love immortal.
I can heal the world from hating.
Deepen my life to the perfect child.

“Before deciding the body... is disordered, one should ask,
‘who art thou that repliest to the Spirit?’
Can matter speak for itself?” (Science and Health, 181: 2)
No!
Well, it’s a faker!
“Rise in the conscious strength...
to overthrow the plea of mortal mind...” (Science and Health, 390: 32)

I’m not made of things that vanish.
I can live by God’s word alone.
I can heal the world from doubting.
I rise whole and free.

God is my Life,
my Love,
my Mind,
my Everything.
God, God I love You.
